The body was designed to move well and to move often. Unfortunately, this is becoming out of the norm for the typical human. Daily movement is essential to prolong life, prevent injury, and maintain good mental health. If the ability to move is not used, it is lost. Muscles and joints need to continually be moved through basic movement patterns, such as hip hinging, pushing, and pulling, in order to maintain these muscle pathways. If these patterns are not used on a daily basis, the muscles and joints need to be reeducated to move properly through these movement patterns. Movement patterns apply to everyday tasks like sitting in a chair or picking up your grandchild. Continuing to train like an athlete throughout life ingrains proper positioning into neural pathways through repetition which is essential to avoid injury and keep the body moving as it was intended.
For patients, this network is a free online resource to locate a clinician who understands the demands of their training. This is an opportunity for patients to take control of their healthcare by locating a clinician who has the same ideals and training philosophies. Patients have the right to choose who they trust with their bodies. This is another tool to help them do so.
It is my goal to keep patients moving functionally and pain free through the use of chiropractic adjustments, daily movement, and whole food nutrition. Moving is a prerequisite to living. Without movement there is no life. Without life there is no movement.
